A brief preview.

I've probably designed and started more layouts than I can remember, I guess the process is easier than actually building something.  I have a fondness for a number of railroads having focused on Pacific Electric for my HO modeling.  Having lived in San Francisco for a number of years, watching the State Belt Railway lumber through heavy traffic and tourists was common place.  Most don't realize that one of the primary reasons for the Railway's existence was the military base at the Presidio and Ft Mason before and after the war years.  This project represents the self contained pier area to the west of Fisherman's wharf built on a 5x8 base that will be transportable to shows.    More to follow.
